Heidi Short is a director/ partner at the law firm of Fennemore Craig. She is a land use and zoning attorney who primarily practices in the areas of land use regulation, zoning and real estate acquisition and disposition. Her practice includes representation of commercial developers, resorts, hospitals, high-rises, homebuilding companies, industrial facilities, manufacturers, railroads, and master planned community developers in various areas including the acquisition of land, negotiation of development agreements, securing zoning and land use entitlements, negotiation of development financing and all areas of acquisition, development and sale.
Short is a former member of the City of Phoenix Encanto Village Planning Committee, a past chair of the Arizona Women's Appointment Collaboration, a past board member of the Junior League of Phoenix and is currently serving as the chair of the 2011 Real Property Section of the Arizona State Bar convention through her membership on the Arizona State Bar Real Property Section Executive Council. Additionally, Short has been a member of the Valley Forward Board of Directors since 2007 and is currently serving as the 2012 Chair.
