A Menu of Programs and Services to be provided by the Arizona Forward Coalition

The Arizona Forward Coalition (AFC) has the overall purpose of bringing business and civic leaders together in order to convene thoughtful public dialogue on statewide issues and to improve the environment and sustainability of Arizona.

AFC’s specific programs and services are still being developed and will include:

• Statewide forums at locations throughout Arizona held for sharing ideas about environmental sustainability issues impacting the state and region


• Access to diverse points of view through issue committees related to energy, water, land use/open space and conservation, air quality, transportation and other matters deemed important by members


• Advocacy of balanced economic development in Arizona that highlights the state’s natural resources and fosters cooperation on ways to protect and preserve these important assets


• Opportunity to network and build cooperative relationships with large corporations, small businesses, municipalities and  government agencies, educators, non-profits and civic leaders who are vested in enhancing the economic vitality and environmental quality of Arizona


• Education and outreach through the Coalition’s technical resources via white papers,  positions on issues, events, forums, field trips and related activities of the issue committees


• Resource support for teachers and students through AFC environmental education programs and initiatives


• Recognition through the Arizona Forward website, social media (Facebook/Twitter), blogs and printed materials to be developed, as well as sponsor opportunities to promote your company’s role in the green movement


• Involvement of all employees within an organization to serve on influential committees to ensure responsible land conservation, as well as smart growth and development, efficient transportation, air and water quality, energy alternatives and meaningful environmental education


• 100 percent tax deductible contribution
