Arizona Forward was founded as Valley Forward in 1969, one year before the first Earth Day.
Members of Arizona Forward represent large corporations and small businesses, municipalities and government agencies, educators, non-profits and concerned individuals working together on environmental initiatives.
Throughout its history, Arizona Forward has advocated for a balance between environmental quality and economic development.
