CITY OF TEMPE

Some of the environmental education programs offered by the Water Utilities Department include our water conservation program outreach efforts. Several of the educational programs offered include: Xeriscape Installation and Low Water Use Plant Maintenance Workshop, Drip Irrigation System Installation and Maintenance Workshops, Water Conservation Program for Local Schools (in school assemblies) School Gardening Grant Program, Industrial Water Conservation Grant Program and Industrial Water Conservation, Workshops, Statewide Media Campaign "Water use it Wisely", Water plant tours by appointment, Curriculum developed through regional program for water education for grades 6-12, Desert landscaping
