MARICOPA ASSOCIATION OF GOVERNMENTS
The Maricopa Association of Governments (MAG) conducts regional planning for the Maricopa County region. Its members include 25 cities and towns, three Native American Indian Communities, and Maricopa County. MAG is the lead regional planning agency in the areas of transportation, air quality, human services, water quality, and solid waste. MAG is also charged with developing socioeconomic projections for the region, and its information services division analyzes specialized data in a variety of areas, including land use, population projections, housing completions, transportation and air quality.
MAG also prints the only regional bike map and offers an interactive bike map www.azmag.gov/bikemap. |
