SONORAN SUSTAINABLE BUILDING ADVISOR PROGRAM

The Sonoran Sustainable Building Advisor Program (SoSBAP) teaches students how to apply the fundamental principles of sustainability to the built environment. Each session, students learn the various unit topics through local industry expert instruction, hands-on exercises and site visits. Students also work on a group practicum to apply the concepts they are learning to an actual project. The course prepares students to take a national certification exam to earn the designation of Certified Sustainable Building Advisor (CSBA). SoSBAP is also recognized by the U.S. Green Building Council (USGBC) as a 400-level "mastery" course in sustainability.
