IMAGINATION NOT REQUIRED |

Imagine a pedestrian freeway letting you hike, bike or ride around the Valley, exploring desert vistas and visiting community landmarks along the way - without having to compete with motorized vehicles. |
 |
» |
Envision a ring of trails
circling the Valley, connecting parks, riparian corridors,
recreational facilities and desert landscapes - a system
of open space amenities from the Phoenix Rio Salado
to Tempe Town Lake and into Mesa, accessing Maricopa
County's regional parks, Scottsdale's Indian Bend Wash,
the West Valley Recreation Corridor along the Agua Fria
and New River and beyond. |

The Valley's Pedestrian Freeway is a priceless necklace of trails and gems. The untold story is the numerous gaps in the system. Our goal is to close those gaps. And our passport is the next step in an ongoing effort to both complete the regional trails system and promote the precious gems in every community. |
