Public Education Committee (PEC)
Grown from the realization that the association should strengthen its voice in the public policy arena and play a larger role in educating the business community, policymakers and Arizona residents about our mission and vision, the Board established this new committee in 2010. The Public Education Committee (PEC) is responsible for advancing the association’s principles on issues relating to its basic agenda of land use and open space, transportation and air quality, energy and water. Through its PEC, Arizona Forward brings public and private sector representatives together to advocate for a better quality of life through sustainability initiatives and projects.
