Education in its broadest meaning is any process by which an individual gains knowledge or insight or develops attitudes or skills. It is an experience that has a formative effect on the mind, character, or physical ability of an individual. In ...view middle of the document...

It is generally believed that the basis for any true development must commence with the development of human resources. When we come to think of students, they are the ones who learn ideas to become more responsible and productive someday. Examples of the factors affecting the academic performance of students are the environmental, social/ family, teachers, friend relationships, and socio-economic factors.
Almost all of the factors are a variable of academic performance. However, the researchers would like to investigate the possible relationship of factors affecting to the academic achievement of under graduate students of Notre Dame of Tacurong College.
