After exploring Human Resources several where found that offered information of web-based programs, the paper will show focus in Effortless HR. Various points will be looked into such as, “How human resources enhance the functional area within the human service organizations?” Furthermore it will cover how to utilize the software, explain how the size of the organization helps determine which software package to choose, and describe the advantages and disadvantages of using the software. Last we will explain how a company can use software for networking.

Thus, as a result would assist to deliver a more effective service to clients, would eliminate cost and space, as information forms no longer would need to be stored, and last but not least important, would save time and funds, as less employees would be needed to keep track of collected information. Less employees producing, monitoring, and storing information forms, could mean, assistance that is more physical and affective in delivering of services to clients.
The department of Human resources acts as the backbone of any organization providing employee record keeping, employee benefit and compensation information, training and development, along with many other operations. The human resource department is responsible for keeping and maintaining employee’s records, functionality and organization. When documents are organized correctly it enhances productivity. One program comes to mind when a company wants to have organization within their Human Resources’ Department, which is QuickBooks. QuickBooks enhances this process by giving functionality to collecting data, managing data, and sharing data. Using QuickBooks with employee record keeping can allow the human resource professional to perform single data transactions, eradicate the use of Excel spreadsheets, save time by not spending hours looking through filing cabinets, have automated reminders on benefits eligibility, performance reviews and meetings, review vacation, sick time, and other leaves by days, record all warnings and disciplinary actions, form benefits plans by employee, view attendance, and create over 60 reports. Disadvantages to this system would be minimal. This system can only help the organization using it. The only disadvantage is getting used to a new more technological system versus a manual system. The size of the organization helps usually determines the software package chosen; however QuickBooks can be used for the smallest to the largest organizations. Like stated previously functionality and organization is the key no matter the size organization.
