They start by either selling drugs or they start smoking it, either way is illegal so it will be considered a crime. Some, start looking for friends and love through gangs. Because of all these different problems in school, home, an etc. the students join gangs and have to do what they are told to join such as fighting, shooting, robbing, rape, and other different types of crime. These crimes are mostly done by juvenile offenders or adults who been that juvenile but carried it all the way up to its adulthood life. The juveniles once they are caught they go to the juvenile detention center for the smaller crimes they commit such as theft, traffic violation, and etc. but if the juveniles commit real serious crimes they may go to the juvenile detention center until they turn 18 to be considered an adult or they court may go ahead and charge them as an adult depending on how bad the crime is. And a lot of this is what happens to the Tyler areas and community. Speaking from the time I have been living here in this city I have known the North Tyler area to be the area where mostly all the drugs and crimes are committed at. That is not to say that all the other parts of Tyler don’t commit crimes it’s just that they are not the worst part of Tyler. This may be why the statistics are rated as high from the community because the North Tyler area is a very low income housing that has a lot of broke down houses and environment that has struggled to try to make ends meet from here to there and that’s just their own little way of trying to survive. And it’s very sad and shame that each one struggle but they still go after what the other one doesn’t have such as clothes, food, cars, rims, money, and so on. They start out with these small crimes and then vend out to something more bigger and risker than these. Which therefore, they start getting greedier for more and more money, clothes, cars, shoes, jewelry and etc. and that’s when it leads then into jail or even prison and they don’t care that they are hurting their own they are just looking out for self to survive.
I am speaking from someone close to me who has been put into this situation and had dropped out in the 10th grade and start selling drugs and getting into gangs and turning toward the street for love because they had two parents who were both out in the streets on drugs. So, besides their grandparents all they had was the street love and they enjoyed that attention they got from the streets and it later built into small crimes such as theft, traffic violation, caring weapons, selling drugs, then later it went...
