In 2005, Lisa and Ruben decided to follow their hart and goal to open a nightclub call, Club IT. They have live bands on Fridays and Saturdays and have a live DJ on Tuesdays through Thursdays. Their mission is "We, Lisa and Ruben, offer you music live and DJ's, dance space and refreshments that suit any ones lifestyle. You are our friends, and we seek to build a community that meets regularly at Club IT." Their clientele is people that just want to have a good time.   Lisa and Ruben should use the intranet as one of their functional areas, Lisa could create customers Coupons. Coupons can be sent for future events that will be held at Club IT , as well as using the e-mails that are registered in the database. Advertising on Facebook would be an excellent way of competing with other nightclubs’. Facebook is free advertisement, not only free but hundreds and hundreds of people are part of Facebook. If Club IT advertises on Faceboook it will create a network with endless exposure. There customer strategy will result in obtaining better results out of the clubs needs and the clientele’s needs.
Club IT’s main focus should be to make its customers happy. by use web based system like Facebook. It also should be user friendly, the web site could have a link that will refer the customer to type in their e-mail address for future events. On Club IT’s website there should be options where the customers can purchase products such as, t-shirts with Club It logo, baseball caps, shot glasses, and glass mugs. Costumers that have registered as members on line with Club It will receive a 10% discount on their purchase. On the website, there will also be a menu with the appetizers that will be sold and the alcoholic beverages, and the non-alcoholic beverages. So when the customer comes to Club It, they will know what the prices are, and what to order. By placing this information on their web page the customer would get all the info that they would need even before they got to the club. Lisa Tejada and Ruben Keys would spend less time in the office worrying about money and more time planning activities such as booking bands for their next show, or advertising on their Web site.
I fill if they use the ideas that I gave here like the use of facebook or planning activities such as booking bands for their next show, or advertising on their Web site they would get a larger group of people and with that type of circulation would boost their sales and make more money. The internet is a great tool used properly here in this situation it could even give new talent a chance to get to be known.
