Do you prefer to live in a small town or large city?

When I came to the United States, the first thing that came up to my mind was where I am going to live? In my native country I used to live in a small town, where most people knew each other families over there. I personally prefer to live in a large city because it is more convenient and satisfactory. In other words, I can find anything I need such as supermarkets, laundries, transportation, etc on the corner of my house.
I really enjoyed my childhood living in a small town as a kid. While I was growing up I realize that something had to change in my life in order to make it different. Therefore, I decided to come to the United Sates when ...view middle of the document...

Every time I walked on the street I listened to the train station rails or police siren. It was something awesome to see that.
I noticed that, when you are living in a large city such as New York City, it’s easy to shop at any time or any place you want. I always like to check groceries’ price before I buy them. We have to save our money. That’s why I buy the newspaper every Sunday and cut the coupons that come with it. This is my way to keep my budget accurate and save money for my retirement. I love living in the city, because I don’t even have to spend money on gas or transportation to buy my groceries. It is one block from my house.
All of people don’t like to wash the clothes because it will take your time or don’t feel like going over there. When it comes to washing my clothes, I always drop off it in the laundry service and I pick up when it is done. This is an advantage of living in a large city. You can do things easily and don’t stress yourself with small things that can get done in a minute.
All people know the transportation in the city is very important and necessary. Most people spend hours and hours waiting on the bus or train station. This usually happen in the small towns, unless they have their own transportation. When I went to visit my aunt, I spent almost half of my day waiting at the station. Since that day, I have never taken a bus in life again because I bought a car. I use the car only when I have to travel outside of New York City, otherwise I would rather take the train or the bus which is more convenient for me.
In conclusion, living in a large city has a lot of advantages. You can do and get things done easily. I like living in New York City. I feel like this is my second home since I was born. There are a lot of diversity places where you can spend time with your family and friends.
