Violence can be justifiable in some situations like self defence or a martial art. It should in any way be used as a killing tool but only to get yourself out of a bad situation. Violence should never be used in any way of using it to get things you want or force people to do anything or use it to solve a problem or crisis. I think that defending your country is a great thing to do but sending out a man to kill and get revenge on another country is unacceptable.
Violence is definitely acceptable in self defence or to defend your family and friends but it is completely unacceptable to use it to kill. If someone comes into your house and holds hostage a family member, you can't stop and ask or discuss violent matters. Violence should be used to get the member of your family back to safely but not to get revenge on the home invader.
People like the iconic nelson Mandela never ever used violence or any harmful action to kill or hurt any other person or citizen, he used peaceful protest. By using peaceful protest nelson Mandela won and achieved things that would never had been considered if he had used violence. There are people like Malcolm X who just used violence to overcome the white leaders, if he had done this peacefully there would have not have been a peaceful culture in countries like South Africa or any other countries in the world.
