Mess manager will be able to add,update the messbill ,information of new room on whose basis room can be alloted,fine of the students. students can view their messbill and fines and also room information on the systems provided.

Overall Description

1 Product Perspective

The concept of the project originated from the difficulty which is faced in case of manual systems. The project is designed to provide most of the features that are required to manage the hostels.

2 Product Features

1 The student can check or pay his/her messbill and fine.

2.2.2 The mess manager can see the data of the students.

2.2.3 The mess manager can add messbill,fine.

2.2.4 The Mess manager can do room allotment, add details of the new room .

On the basis of regular utilization there are two users as follows:-

Our project is a software which is developed using JAVA, the database used is oracle 10g. The recommended hardware requirements are more than one computer and physical connection from all the computers to any one computer.

5 Design and Implementation Constraints

1 This system should be provided with oracle database.

2 User will have to install the software by the cd provided.

3 Limited space.

6 User Documentation
