Human Resource Management Roles
In any facility there is a human resources department. The human resources department has many roles within the company. The roles include doing background checks for new employees, interviewing and hiring for positions, training staff, benefits, making sure the company is in compliance with the federal and state regulations, employee evaluation and motivation, compensation and communication between management and employees. The employer and the employees have a HR manager in place to help with both of their needs within the company. The human resources department also helps with the best strategy that fits the firm business, according to Porter and Miles and Snow. Human resources manager also deals with two discrimination. The two kinds of discrimination that affects the HR manager are disparate treatment and adverse impact.
Every facility has a department that helps with hiring employees, training employees, interviewing for positions, compensation and benefits, labor related issues, health and safety issues and risk management. The department is known as the Human Resources department and within the department there is a manager. The HR manager is very important to the facility because he is the one that makes sure that the employees are a good fit for the job. He also makes sure that the employer vision for the facility is carried out within the state and federal laws. Each facility is unique and have different visions so finding the right HR manager is very important.
