Upon opening a new business comes with it periods of trial and error that establish success and failure. The size of these failures or success will determine the future outcome of the business. As the business and the various factors surrounding that business change over time new challenges arise. Although there are various aspects within any business new or old that creates threats and risks to be analyzed and improved upon, one of the most important parts of the business is the management that supports the organization from the top down

Recommendation 1
Kathy could allow each store manager do the ordering of all inventories within that store. This will relieve some of her stress and will free up some of her time to interact with the customers. Kathy could still review each order form before it is submitted for the first four weeks, to ensure that the order is correct. At his point Kathy should be able to entrust her store managers.
Technological advances have made it possible for businesses to advance beyond the traditional scope of the telephone and hard copy files. Changes in technology have created increasingly paperless companies. The internet is an open network and provides opportunities for all businesses. Kudler Fine Foods, Kathy, can use the internet to have each manager upload each week’s orders for her to review. She will not have to actually go to each store to review the order forms. Again, freeing up more time for Kathy.

Recommendation 2
Kudler Fine Foods, Kathy, could hire a Purchaser to handle only ordering for each location. The Purchaser could manage and maintain all inventories for all three locations. To ease Kathy’s worries, she could review all orders for all three locations for the first four weeks.
The Purchaser would answer directly to Kathy. Once a week Kathy and the Purchaser could have a face-to-face meeting. The meeting would allow the both of them to touch base and make sure everything is being done correctly. The meeting should last no longer than one hour. Any other interaction between Kathy and the Purchaser should be done via phone, text, email, or fax.
This will free up a lot of time for Kathy and allow her to interact with customers. Also, this will allow her to be the “face" of the company. This is important for customer loyalty.

Recommendation 3
Kudler Fine Foods, Kathy, could hire a Regional Manager. The Regional Manager could handle a number of responsibilities that Kathy is currently responsible for. For example the Regional Manager could handle the ordering for all three stores, be Kathy’s “right hand man,” and be the go between of store managers and Kathy.
