MARKETING STRAGETIES:
Successfully marketing an apartment complex requires you to find people who are seeking housing and place your advertisements in front of them at the right time and place. As you consider marketing strategies, list the places your target renters or buyers are likely to go when searching for properties. Be sure that your marketing materials are present in each place.

Banners:
One of the most effective ways to market an apartment complex is by hanging a simple banner off of the building facing the street; this is particularly useful if your complex is near a major highway. Flyers:
A tried-and-true method for apartment complex marketing, flyers are easy to create and distribute. Design a flyer that has a photo of the unit, lists the price and included utilities, and provides a phone number and email address. Some good places to start are laundromats, coffee houses, universities, grocery stores and co-ops.

Website:
If your apartment complex does not already have a website, create one. The site should detail the specifics of each available unit and include more detailed information than would appear on a flyer. Be sure to include links to the rental application and any other important information, and make a page dedicated to contact information. Optimize the website to come up in searches for apartments in your city to increase visibility.

Since you want people to be able to see the sign as they drive by, include a concise summary of your apartment complexes.
