For more than 18 years I’ve had successful experience in the medical customer service and support industry; with recognized strengths in account maintenance, problem-solving and trouble-shooting, staff support, and planning/implementing proactive procedures and systems to avoid problems in the first place.

If I’m chosen to serve on the board it will allow me to experience, first-hand, and the operations of an organization at a high-level. Whether or not I strive to be a leader of an organization, it would give me the opportunity to learn about and making decisions on governance, financial/accounting, ethics and legal issues which is something I currently don’t have the responsibility of doing – or opportunity to do – in my current position of employment. It would be an experience that will truly develop my leadership skills and provide me with exposure that I wouldn’t otherwise gain at this stage in my career.
Being on the PSB board will allow me to interact with individuals who likely aren’t in my current professional network and have the opportunity to meet new people. Also I would have the opportunity to have access to mentors and professional opportunities I otherwise wouldn’t have. And bring these skills back to my department.
