Proposal:
First of all, Susie tends to ignore me and doesn’t really want to open up. Since I don’t know her well, I was wondering if the management team could give me a few suggestions on how to approach Susie. You guys have worked with her for years longer than I have and know her personality. Based on your suggestions, I will approach Susie in the best possible way. Then, I’ll kindly ask her if she’d share with me how she likes to do things and how she thinks her ways could be improved for efficiency. I hope that by asking her questions about her methods, it will open her up to new ideas. Then, I’ll be able to share with her some possible solutions and new ways of doing things so that she can see how efficient my ways can be. By asking her to at least give my ideas a chance, I hope that this brings some cooperation and ease to our workplace relationship.
I think my idea is best because I am taking a kind approach, and using a method that will hopefully open up Susie’s mind and make her more open to my suggestions.
Closing:
With my solution, we can reduce the workplace stress just a little bit more, one incident at a time.
