NewwDeal, Inc. is a distributor of Apple accessories. The current way that business is done at this company could be more efficient and faster. My proposal is that this company adopt a NewwDeal mobile application and have it free in the mobile marketplaces.
This application will allow a customer to browse current inventory, place orders, track packages and contact customer service. This application should be available on mobile platforms to include Windows, Android and Apple to ensure we are able to have a broad reach of customers (Charland & Leroux 2011). Opportunities that are available by developing a mobile application is speed in loading, real time feedback and a new way to reach Millennial customers and more sales. The challenges that the application can bring are inimitable application function. To prevent this application from fully being imitated it will need to exceed standards and be set apart from other applications. The success of this product will depend on the user experience and ensuring the design is all about the end user (Charland & Leroux 2011).
This mobile application can overcome customer challenges by allowing NewwDeal to have lower prices on products and increase accessibility to products. The consumer could search for the desired accessory and order the accessory directly from NewwDeal. This would allow the customer to sidestep the retail store. NewwDeal would also benefit from not having to pay the retail for distributing the product. Also mobile capabilities lead to greater accessibility because the consumer would not be confined to a location or a computer.
Mobile applications are beginning to reign over native code. The ease of use that comes with using an application will allow sales and productivity to increase.
