We (core and informed customer group) strongly believe that a customer’s perception of value and satisfaction begins with an initial purchase and continues throughout the actual ownership and the overall service experience. A company must maintain a healthy relationship with customers and exceed customer expectations. This relationship can build trust, confidence, and loyalty from the customer to the company. The company must provide product or service in an exceptional way to surpass customers’ expectations. Walmart must develop awareness of changing market trends in knowing the likes and dislikes of customers who change their tastes from time to time. Consider for example: Gap Inc. is a company that has always created their clothing merchandises to be in line with the fashion trends in today’s culture. Gap Inc. states, “Gap Inc. is a blend of a dynamic, fast-paced culture, respect for diversity and a strong support of the communities where we live and do business. Walmart, being a clothing retailer, must keep up with changing trends otherwise it will soon find itself obsolete in many product lines.

Re-enforce sustainability to further improve customer relationship
We respect Walmart green and innovative inventions as a part of sustainability initiative. Walmart must not lose focus and take this initiative to the next level by addressing not only the environmental dimension but also the widely addressing social and cultural dimension. Creating shared value improves competitiveness of a company and the health of the communities around it. Recognizing and capitalizing on these connections between societal and economic progress has the power to unleash the next wave of global growth.
