Texas Medical Center operates a very large parking operation, one of the largest in the country with over 27,000 parking spaces. Each day more than 160,000 people come to the Texas Medical Center as visitors, patients, employees, students, volunteers, and for other purposes. This section provides parking information for visitors and contract parkers.
Texas Medical Center operates 15 parking facilities for the benefit of visitors to our campus. This information is provided to help you better understand your parking options prior to a visit to the Texas Medical Center campus.

TMC's Self-Pay Parking System |

TMC parking facilities use a self-pay system that allows visitors to pay by machine prior to exiting the facility. HOW DOES IT WORK?
Visitors receive a SmartChip as they enter the visitor facility.  Simply take your SmartChip with you to pay your parking fees at one of our automated Pay Stations before returning to your vehicle at the end of your visit.  Pay Station machines accept cash and credit cards.   |

Entry and exit with credit card Visitors can enter and exit visitor garages using their credit card, allowing them to bypass the pay station and to pay and receive a receipt at the exit.  This feature is available at Garages, 1, 2, 3, 4, 6, 7, 8, 10, 12, and 16 and all surface visitor parking lots operated by Texas Medical Center.The 2011 standard visitor parking rates are listed below.
