Career development plan

My career development plan revolves around my five year plan; this is where I have combined my short term, medium term and long term goals together so it can guide me whenever I am confused or stuck.

Short term goals

For my short term goals year one I will be at Bradford college doing business level 3 B-Tec second year. With intentions I will be going to college everyday with 100% attendance. I will have to work very hard to achieve distinctions in this subject.

Medium term goals

For year 2 I will need to do another course so I can get enough points to enter the accounting course in university. The reason why I need to do another year at college is because I will need extra points for accounting. After that I will be doing my 3rd year which is starting accounting at university. After that either I will either be going to Leeds or Bradford University to enrol on the accounting course. For the fourth year I will be continuing with the course that I will be doing.

Long term goals
For my 5th year I will be graduating from university and will be finishing the course that I started. I will be achieving a degree on the specific course I thought that would help my future career. After that I will be looking for full time experience to do at an accountants private business or a well-established company. This will help me gain money and even more important experience. The reason why the experience is important is because you need it to become a accountant and need it to become better at the job you are doing.
The career development plan will help me progress through my life as I know what targets to acquire.
