Choose the Right Color. Even when speaking about it within the chapter and taking us to the various websites for color scheme. When I was designing alone for print I just went with what color I felt was pleasing to me or to someone else. I don’t have a great eye for color but with these sites, I will always go directly to them. I already have colors floating around in my head now for my own site. I also haven’t used the internet too much for research on any one particular item or thought or project. I noticed Matthew used the internet a lot. He would type in any simple thing he needed to know from how to take screenshots to inspiration.
It was really great when he went through a short presentation in Photoshop on taking screenshots and saving those compressed images. It was a very quick easy introduction into Photoshop, as well as, Matthew taking us through the first assignment. Very informative!

Color detection test is not suitable for their chlorides because all are white solid compounds. The analyzing of group is done by adding the respective salt into water and follow it with dilute HCl. This results in a white precipitate in which NH4OH is added. The insoluble precipitate shows the presence of Plumbous (Pb2+) and if precipitate is soluble, then it shows the presence of Argentous (Ag+).If the white precipitate turns black, it shows the presence of Hg22+.

Drinking beer is a favorite past-time, whether for the variety of types, or the history, or just enjoying an ice-cold mug of brew with your friends. People want to know what makes a light lager light, and what makes a dark lager dark? Is it the ingredients in the brew or is it how it’s made?
Light lagers only came about around the 60’s and 70’s because people wanted to drink beer without getting fat. Basically light lagers are made from using less hops and barley in the brewing process and watering down the lager, essentially creating a lighter color and less filling beer. Almost every beer is either ale or a lager. Lagers are fermented at colder temperatures than ales. They tend to have

In subjects undergoing the water treatment, the results should reveal an increased volume, a light color, an increase in pH, and a decrease in specific gravity. Why is the sky blue? Many people ask this question and we think they come across as silly or young. But the ironic thing is, is that this question touches on some of the deepest aspects of astronomy and skygazing (Sky-Watch). The question is what causes us to see the sky as blue? There are a variety of answers and not necessarily all of them being true, like when you tell a child that it’s because God spilled his water. The sky is blue because of the wavelength of the colors in the electromagnetic spectrum, the atmosphere of Earth, and our eyes.
Many people believe that the sky is light blue just because they have grown up to think only about the color blue when they are asked about the

I chose the Forest stream art piece for my paper. It is done by Harriet Dyer Adams in 1910. It is an oil on an 11x14 canvas. The contour of the lines in this painting really make it an exceptional piece to admire. The tree trunk and branches would be similar to any other tree had the artist not used great detail in her lines. The stream is flowing full in the beginning of the piece but as it goes in the distance it gets narrow.
The artist also used great linear perspective with the way the trees are lined. They aren’t in a symmetrical line but staggered to give the realism of a real forest. The color used really depicts a full lush forest at its greenest. The light however seems that

I tend to agree with this definition because it is very plain and easy to understand. Some may want to define it as the hatred of one person by another or the belief that another person is less than human because of skin color, language, customs, place of birth or any factor that supposedly reveals the basic nature of that person.

Throughout the body several genes are responsible for performing different tasks. In the body, the genes that control the color of our skin, hair, and eyes is known as melanocortin or MC1R. The job of MC1R is specific to pigmentation. Since this type of gene is a receptor, it is located on the surface of melanocytes. One example I found interesting is that a pale skinned red haired female has more MC1R than a blue eyed blonde female. This is because it takes more melanocrotin to produce the deep red base color for the hair causing it to pull more

receptor controls which type of melanin is produced by melanocytes.
When the receptor is activated, it triggers a series of chemical reactions inside melanocytes that stimulate these cells to make eumelanin. If the receptor is not activated or is blocked, melanocytes make pheomelanin instead of eumelanin.
Common variations (polymorphisms) in the MC1R gene are associated with normal differences in skin and hair color. Certain genetic variations are most common in people with red hair, fair skin, freckles, and an increased sensitivity to sun exposure. These MC1R polymorphisms reduce the ability of the melanocortin 1 receptor to stimulate eumelanin production, causing melanocytes to make
